The purpose of this page is to show off some modifications to the What’s New Block, however there are some snags at the moment. The changes allow comments that are left on plugin’s items to be displayed along side poll and article comments in the What’s New block, but in the latest CVS version of Geeklog the plugin comment API has changed rather drastically and broken both the plugins I was going to demonstrate with. (Actually, I’m pretty sure that all plugins which support comments have been broken.)
So it would appear that I get the honor of updating the Geekary and File Management plugins to work with the new API before I can show off the improvements to the What’s New block. In the mean time you can go here and help test the glcalendar plugin.
